However much we love our pets, there will be times when we have to leave them to go away on holiday, or go to work. Weymouth Pet Care can look after your pets if you are away, whether you need a one-off visit, or a week or more or something on a regular basis. They can provide as many visits a day as you require, and can work around your needs and that of your pet(s). We fully appreciate that it may feel stressful having strangers look after your pets, so please do take a read of our many reviews. We will always meet you in advance free of charge, prior to any pet-sitting service arrangement, and provide regular updates when you are away. We will feed, change water, clean litter trays, administer any required medicines and anything else your pet needs.

Weymouth Pet Care was formerly known as Brighton Pet Care and was established in 2017 by Steven Barrett & Tomasz Wnuk.
They quickly became one of the leading pet sitting companies within Brighton & Hove. In 2022 they relocated to Weymouth, subsequently changed their name to Weymouth Pet Care.

How it works
Get in touch with us and tell us your requirements. We will then come and visit you in your home to find out more and meet your pet(s)

You go away and have a nice relaxing holiday, and we visit your pet(s) as agreed

You return from holiday, and we will email you an invoice which you pay by bank transfer

We usually charge by time rather than the number of pets, so a basic visit lasts up to half an hour (depending on your requirements and pets needs (cuddles etc) and costs £9.50 - Please note all bank holidays are charged +50%
MEET THE TEAM
Steven BarrettSteven is a huge animal lover - and has owned most types of pet during his life including guinea-pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, mice, rats, fish (both cold-water and tropical), budgies and tortoises.
Having previously lived and worked in London for nearly 20 years, Steven studied art at Central St. Martins College of Art, and worked for The University of the Arts London as well as pursuing his own artistic career. Steven is also passionate about growing (and preserving) his own food on his allotment and aspires to a life of self-sufficiency. He is a keen cyclist and sea swimmer and has been a vegetarian/vegan for over 42 years. |
Tomasz WnukIn 2004.Tomasz moved to the UK from Poland, where he grew up in Warsaw.
In Poland Tomasz enjoyed a successful career as a television presenter and magazine editor, but now loves working with animals, which has always been his lifelong passion. Tomasz is also very interested in interior design and up-cycling furniture, and likes nothing more than rummaging through car boot sales and antique shops! |
Steven & Tomasz have two rescue dogs called Freddy & George. An adorable cat called Lulu, who belonged to one of our lovely clients who sadly passed away a few months ago. They currently have three guinea pigs called Daffodil, Storm and Venice, and are soon to adopt four more from the RSPCA. They also have a baby Hermann tortoise called Cadpig.

Steven & Tomasz have previously owned a small guinea-pig sanctuary (pictures below) which has been home to as many as sixteen guinea pigs.
They were all rescued from various places and situations. Their names were Chase, Buttercup, Bella, Peaches, Princess, Hyacinth, Mildred, Margo, Vlada, Kate, Pippin, Co-co, Ketch-up and Bam-Bam.
